NEW ADVENTURES COVID-19 RESPONSE
DAILY HEALTH CHECKS
Each morning families and team members are required to complete a daily health check. For team members, this includes self temperature readings and health checks that are individually reported to the Director prior to coming to work each day.
Our students get their temperature taken and symptom check upon arrival. For both families and team members, we ask that you stay home if you are feeling unwell.
MASKS
Our healthy team members at New Adventures are all fully vaccinated. They are not required to wear masks and all students have the option to wear masks. We believe, and have had great success, with our small community of students (25 students, 4 team members) that with proper health checks, regular covid-19 testing from families, hand washing and proper hygiene routines, we can all stay healthy in a mask-free environment.
CLEANLINESS
New Adventures Montessori is cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis to help control germs and bacteria. All of our sanitizing products are EPA approved. Our products are not only EPA approved but also considered “green” and are made with safe and natural ingredients whenever possible.
HAND WASHING
We know that one of the best and most basic ways to keep ourselves and those around us heathy is to practice good hand hygiene. New Adventures provides easy to access hand sanitizer through out the school. We ask that everyone entering New Adventures use sanitizer or wash hands before moving about the school. All team members are trained in frequent and proper hand washing. We also routinely conduct hand washing throughout the day before eating or serving food, after using the restroom or if someone coughs or sneezes.
